New Community Challenge² X
Prize RFP Announced
CFHM invites interested affordable housing,
planning, and community development organizations to submit
proposals for its 2009-2012 Community Challenge² X Prize
(CC² XP) competition. The goal is to inspire a new generation
of effective multicultural organizations to have lasting impact
in increasing and retaining participation of communities of
color at all levels of the affordable housing field. Monetary
awards will be provided to winning organizations.

Changing the Face of Housing in Minnesota Leadership Survey Report,
2nd Edition
CFHM has released the results of its 2007 Leadership Survey that
measures the increase of persons of color on staffs and boards
in the affordable housing and community development fields from
our 2004 survey.
Survey results indicate the percentages changed
only minimally from 17% to 19% of people of color in industry
staff positions
and 20% to 24% in board positions from 2004 to 2007.
